The Braun Home philosophy has always been "Everyone Deserves a Home."
The goal and purpose of the Braun Home is to provide individualized services to developmentally disabled/mentally ill adults in a variety of settings.
Our philosophy is client-centered, with written goals and plans for each client.
Braun staff treat everyone with love, respect, and dignity.
We strive to work with individuals and do not believe in discharging people due to behavioral or medical crises.
Our caring advocate team works together with clients utilizing all available support services to achieve client goals to enhance lives, respect individuality, and promote community membership.
Our History
Braun Home has been in business since 1994, improving lives through our support and services. It is the second-largest residential provider in the CMRO catchment area.
Braun Home employs approximately 260+ staff members-the second largest employer in Howard County, and we have the financial resources to fund new growth. The Braun Home houses great employment opportunities, full benefits, and sign-on bonuses.
Braun Home serves 80+ people in Howard County, Randolph, and Callaway counties.
We support people long-term. Most individuals we serve have been supported for 21+ years.
We provide residential habilitation, community placement via independent living arrangements, personal assistants, and respite care as needed.
We support each client’s participation in community life. Each individual is entitled to the same dignity, respect, and opportunities as all other members of society.
We have experienced continuous growth in the number of people we serve, and nature of services provided for individuals.
